Late series IIa?
Mystery fender blower. Some Land Rovers have them. Some do not. It is a mystery.
Rally or Safari?

It’s a Series III judging by that air intake and the hinge on the windshield frame.
Air intake for the cabin heater.
On the other side in a right hand drive.

Those are quite a find! And with the safari roof too!

Missed this. It’s a III with a late IIa grill, looks like based on the door hinges and windshield hinges, but also the signals - they’re US market SIII ones specifically. Others are correct on the hole being the cabin heater - most US market IIIs had a Kodiak Mk. III fresh air heater. It uses (and slightly cuts out) the holes for the pedals on that side to pass air into the cabin. The hubs look to be Warn, among the most common offered by dealers, and the color is Poppy Red, which was mostly a US market color.
